The Rotary Club of West Oklahoma City is committed to investing in the future of Oklahoma through the Hal W. Almen Scholarship Program. Each year, the club provides scholarships to deserving Oklahoma students who demonstrate financial need, academic potential, and a commitment to achieving their educational goals. Since the program began in 2004, the scholarship has helped countless students pursue college and career training, reducing financial barriers while encouraging the next generation of leaders. By supporting education, our continues its mission of "Service Above Self," creating lasting opportunities that strengthen individuals, families, and communities across Oklahoma. Jim Hampton is the chair of this important committee, and we are proud that we recently gave 23 scholarships worth $5,000 each. To date, we have given over $1.9 million in scholarships to deserving seniors. Our club recognizes and appreciates the Oklahoma City Community Foundation who administers this important program on behalf of the Rotary Club of West Oklahoma City.
