Born in Alness, Scotland and came to America in 1991 to attend Bryan College which is in Dayton, TN.  I played basketball there and started off my YMCA career.  After graduation Karyne and I were married, and we have been together now for 29 years.  We have two sons, Kestor aged 25, serves in the US Navy and is currently stationed in Naples Italy.  Brody aged 23 is a senior at Oklahoma University.  Karyne and I attend Emmaus Church, and I also co-lead a Sunday School Class and serve as Deacon.
I have been a Rotarian since the early 2000s and have thoroughly enjoyed every club that I have been a member of, especially West OKC, the BEST Club!

The West OKC Rotary Club proudly honored two remarkable community members at a special awards ceremony, marking the inaugural presentation of the West OKC Rotary Club's Community Excellence Award. The first recipients of this prestigious award, Pilot Chase Rutledge, a dedicated journalist at KOCO Channel 5, and Rev. Dr. Morris Holmes, a passionate advocate for youth development, were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the betterment of our community.
